Vizio SmartCast apps

Vizio TVs use SmartCast, which has a limited app selection. Most Xtream Codes player apps are not available on Vizio SmartCast.

Web browser on Vizio

Some newer Vizio models have a built-in browser. You can access the VieworaTV web player through it, but performance varies.

Best option: external device

For Vizio TV owners, the best streaming solution is connecting a Firestick, Android TV box, or Chromecast via HDMI. This bypasses SmartCast limitations entirely.

Vizio casting

Vizio SmartCast supports Chromecast built-in and Apple AirPlay. You can cast from your phone, but this is not ideal for continuous streaming.
