Why Android TV is best for streaming

Android TV (including Google TV) supports the most streaming player apps via Google Play Store. IPTV Smarters, TiviMate, and most other player apps are available directly.

Step 1: Install a player app

Open the Google Play Store on your Android TV. Search for 'IPTV Smarters' or 'TiviMate'. Install the app.

Step 2: Log in with Xtream Codes

Open the app, choose Xtream Codes/API login. Enter your name, username, password, and server URL from your credentials email.

Step 3: Wait for playlist to load

The app will connect and load your channels, VOD, and series. This may take 1-5 minutes depending on playlist size and server speed.

Step 4: Start watching

Browse Live TV, Movies, and Series. Use your TV remote or a compatible controller to navigate.

Sideload if app is not in Play Store

If a specific app is not in the Play Store, you can sideload APKs using a file manager app or USB drive. This is one of the biggest advantages of Android TV over Samsung/LG.
