LG TV Streaming Setup Guide

LG Smart TVs run webOS. Here is how to set up streaming on your LG TV.

LG TV Streaming Setup Guide

LG TV app options

LG TVs use the LG Content Store. Some streaming player apps are available, but IPTV Smarters and TiviMate may not be in the LG Content Store on all models.

Method 1: Install from LG Content Store

Press the Home button on your LG remote. Navigate to the LG Content Store. Search for a compatible streaming player app. If available, install and log in with Xtream Codes credentials.

Method 2: Use the web browser

If no compatible app is available, open the LG Web Browser. Navigate to the VieworaTV web player URL. Enter username and password to stream directly in the browser.

Method 3: Use an external device

If your LG TV does not support apps or the browser is slow, connect a Firestick or Android TV box via HDMI. This is often the most reliable solution for LG TVs.

LG TV troubleshooting

LG webOS browsers can be slow with streaming. If buffering occurs, try lowering the stream quality or using an external device. Check for LG firmware updates regularly.
